I typically play Bruce as Damian being 16 by default, which means he’s had time to work on the whole understanding parent thing. Personality wise he’s mostly based on Wayne Family Adventures, which means that as much as he’s grown as a parent in that he’s had 4 more years on top of it but willing to RP him with younger versions of his kids.Bruce Wayne lost his parents at a young age, and after that he was raised by Alfred Pennyworth. At some point he was at a circus and when The Flying Grayson’s died, after that he watched their son Richard as the police questioned him. When he saw the way they boy was so torn up by his parents death he couldn’t help the decision to take him in, the look on his face looked so much like how he had felt after his parents died.After that in his public personal he is what the tabloids refer to as a “serial adopter”, no one can quite figure out what it is that he looks for when officially or unofficially adopting children. But they do know that he hasn’t stopped yet and he probably wont stop until he’s in the grave, that’s why it wasn’t much of a surprise when a press conference was held to let people know about the new Wayne child who rumors had been circulating about.What was a surprise? That he stated in the interview that it was Damian Wayne’s twin brother, he told the press that Damian had been told he’d died, and his mother had hidden him away so that Bruce was unable to find him. It wasn’t exactly a lie, but it was as close to the truth as they tended to get about his new children. And telling them about Danielle could wait.As for Bruce himself, he has grown a lot since Damian came to him. With both Alfred and Dick’s persistent help he started facing his flaws as a father, though he’s still not perfect he does his best to help his children when they need it and be there for them when they need him.

Jason Todd had a less than ideal childhood, a father locked in jail and a drug addict mother who seemed to love him back lacked the ability to care for either of them. He was just a child when he got caught up in the craziness that was Bruce’s world, unknown to him? After her encounter with him Talia orchestrated it so that he would come across Bruce, what she didn’t plan for was him stealing the tires off the batmobile. She was both pleasantly impressed and amused by the antics. He did manage to catch Bruce’s attention and eventually he became the new Robin, which was what eventually lead to his death.When he was resurrected about 6 months after his death it wasn’t complete, his body was alive and his mind had the vague memories of his life but he was a remnant of his former self; his soul had failed to come back with him. Talia was the one who scooped him up from where he was and tossed his body into the pit in hopes of fixing him, and it worked. His soul was able to reunite with his body, though there was a latent rage that some got from use of The Pits and he had to work to overcome that.Well with Talia working on his Pit Rage he met Damian a few times and Aidan once (@aidanwaynealghul), though most of his time with Talia is a hazy so he figured he was just remembering wrong with the vague memory of Damian being lighter with blue eyes. Then he met Danielle Master Phantom and things started to come to light, it wasn’t until she mentioned Amity on accident that he finally started putting the pieces together. She had gone off to apparently go to some coronation before he “came to drag her back to Amity”, and that was after she destroyed his TV on impulse when Vald Masters came on the screen. That was all he needed to ask Barbara to look into her for him.What she found was a a lot of jumbled disconnected information, but when Jason saw the image of Aidan with what seemed to be a couple of friends his memories became just a bit clearer. He was labeled as “Daniel ‘Danny’ James Fenton”, but he looked so much like Damian even Barb saw it when she was showing him what she found.When Dani came back Barbara got to meet her, and they got out of her who exactly she was and why she looked like a copy of Aidan. He’d half died in an accident similar to one Vlad Masters had and it made him obsessed with making him his son, which led to a cloning attempt that ended with Dani as the only stable clone. He told her she had 3 months to talk to Danny before he went to Bruce and Damian.Before that could come about though Danny ended up telling his parents about his condition and they reacted as well as most would expect them to. When they began 'trying to free their son of the ghost possessing him’ Dani felt it, as the only family he actually knew or cared about that was dead or half dead? The realm considered her his heir, and when he was being hurt by The Fentons she could feel both that and The Infinite Realm trying to call her back.Jason in his panic brought her to the cave, at the explanation given Damian was both angry and ready to run off to find Danny. It was only Bruce telling him they needed a plan or Aidan could be in even more danger that stopped him, Jason was more worried about making sure that Dani was alright and threatening the other’s for the sly comments they made about him being like Bruce for taking her in. “Not my fault she pulled a Tim and refused to leave” being said more than once in the days following.

Barbara Joan Gordon is the daughter of Commissioner James Gordon and his ex-wife Eileen Barbara Gordon, as well as the younger sister of James Gordon Jr by 3 years. When Barbara was 9 years older her brother went off the walls insane, he’d always been a little hard to handle but her parents dealt with it the best they could. It wasn’t a great situation, and Barbara’s door had a lock on it that only her mother and father had a key to for the sake of her own safety.Then one day he got upset and charged at her, she doesn’t even remember what it was that set him off but she knows that their mother got in between them. Eileen ended up knocking Jame off of him and holding him down, yelling at her to call 911. When responders got there James was unconscious and bleeding from cuts and scrapes caused by the altercation, but alive. Barbara was found curled up in Eileen’s arms with both of them crying.Her brother ended up locked up in a juvenile mental institute, and mother left nearly a month after the incident.She met Dick Grayson not long after he was take in by Bruce and got caught up in the chaos that is Bruce Wayne. She was 14 when she figured out that he was Robin and Bruce was Batman, it was during an attack on the Police Station well she was there with her Father. Robin made a joke and she narrowed his eyes at him and thought to herself “I’d know a Dick Grayson joke anywhere.” and confronted him about him next time they saw each other.When she was 16 she became Batgirl, donning a suit and going out with Bruce protesting. Her father was in danger though because of a rouge attack, and she wasn’t going to sit there well Bruce and Dick tried to save him. Luckily she had been in gymnastics and self defense classes since she could walk, so she caught on pretty quickly. After her Dad was safe she just kept going, not every night and she didn’t feel as compelled by it as Bruce and Dick. But on busy nights or when they needed her for a mission she was there.When she was 22 she was injured during an encounter with one of Gotham’s Rouges, the incident caused a loss of of mobility in her leg’s. After this she took time to recover, hopeful that she would one day be able to walk again. Once she had accepted that wasn’t in the cards for her she decided to figure out another way to be useful to the team, reinventing her hero identity as Oracle and becoming the in house coms coordinator, researcher and hacker for the Bat’s.

Timothy Jackson Drake was born to Jack and Janet Drake, both come from old money but well Jack was born and raised in Gotham Janet was not. When he was younger his parents were around more, and they brought him traveling with them. Once he started school they started leaving him at home, he had a nanny at first when he was younger but by the time he was 8 he had skipped 2 grades in school and they decided he didn’t need a dedicated nanny. He spent his weeks boarding at school after all.They had a driver employed for the trips to and from school on Mondays, Fridays and for holidays, a chef who came to make meals for him on the weekends and hired security on the premises even when he wasn’t there. He didn’t have a dedicated care taker anymore though, and it was rare that he was at home at the same time as his parents.The last thing that he remembered doing with them as a family was going to Haly’s Circus, he was so excited to see it with them after going by himself his driver was with him, but he’s pretty sure he only went in with him out of pity the day before during their first show during their stop in Gotham. He didn’t expect what happened with the Grayson’s any more than the rest of the audience, and it eventually led him to a life he couldn’t have imagined.After that he spent most of his free time, which was a lot with absent parents and being younger than all his classmates, doing school work and obsessing over Batman and later his new prodigy. He put together pieces and figured things out, until he heard one day that Robin had been killed by The Joker. He had a pit in his stomach at that, because he knew what that meant even if others didn’t. The Joker had killed Bruce Wayne’s son Jason Todd.When Batman started going off the deep end he went to find Nightwing and talk to him first, when he dismissed him he showed up at Dick’s job and told him “I told you why I’m here last night.” to which he was guided out to the mans car by his shoulder with an excuse of ‘bringing the kid home.’ From there he eventually became Robin officially a few weeks before his 13th birthday, trying his best to live up to the title but feeling like he never would. Eventually he became a part of the Teen Titans along with a few other hero friends, traveling back and forth from Titan Tower and Gotham as he was needed.In December after his 13th birthday he was kicked out of school for missing to much time, because he had so much other stuff to do Tim came to an agreement with Bruce. He would continue to study and learn what he would be in school independently, and when he turned 16 he would take the GED test and apply for online courses for college. The reason his parents weren’t notified? Bruce offered to his parents to keep an eye on him and that basically became them letting him become his temporary legal guardian.After Damian showed up and was made Robin he felt defeated and replaceable, the taunting that he liked to do didn’t help the now 14 year olds complex. Despite the fact he wasn’t Batman’s Robin anymore? He still went out and rebranded himself as Red Robin and working alone, the first time the other’s tried to work with him after this he ignored them before explaining the next day why. They had pushed him to the side like he didn’t matter, and even if they didn’t mean to? He needed time after that.He was the first one to figure out that Bruce was alive and trapped in time after he was declared dead only 6 months after Damian had come to live with him. In Bruce’s absence he kept his word and took the GED test a year and a half before he was originally planning on, getting lawyers involved to allow him to do so to get it out of the way and he could focus on other things. During this time he became doing what he could to keep Wayne Enterprise running smoothly well Bruce was gone, also joining an online college and taking classes for both a business and finance degree.Once Bruce had returned Tim stepped back at Wayne enterprise, still stepping in when Bruce needed help because he was busy with Batman things. He was only a few months into his college classes when Bruce came back and now with more time to take electives, he added a few photography classes to his roster. He finished his business and finance degrees by the time he was 18, but he kept signing up for different creative classes such as photography, design, digital editing and so on as he wanted until eventually he inadvertently had enough credits for an arts degree at 19.His parents by now are no better then when he was younger, he saw them maybe once a year and they barley knew what he was up to unless they saw an article about him. When he turned 18 he went to Bruce with a whole power point style argument about why he should officially adopt him now that his parents couldn’t argue against it, he didn’t need it though and Bruce interrupted on slide 2. He told him that if he wanted to finish his presentation he could, but he didn’t need to convince him and if that’s what he wanted he could officially adopt him.
